Summary
Duties:
The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to prescribe, provide, and coordinate care for Cardiology patients based on current standards of medical / surgical and critical care nursing. That care includes initial and ongoing assessment, drug administration, vascular access procedures, assisting physicians and technologists during procedures, and reporting on patients conditions post procedure. The nurse is responsible for ensuring continuity of patient care during their visit to. In addition, patient, family, and staff education is to be performed and documented.
Requirements:
An Associate in Nursing is required. A Bachelors is preferred. 1-2 years of Critical Care experience is preferred. Professional License with State of Practice is required. National Certification is preferred.
