Director, Annual Giving

Summary

Duties:

The Director of Annual Giving is responsible for developing and executing all phases of a successful annual fund campaign to include ongoing soliciting, stewarding, renewing and upgrading donors. Assists with planning and directing the fund raising programs consistent with the fund raising needs of the health system. Coordinates all annual giving activities of the SJ/C Foundations. Must have demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work with, support and motivate in a positive manner. Prefer individual with knowledge of the local community. Must be able to work flexible hours (night, early mornings, weekends) and interact outside the hospitals with volunteers and donors in business and home settings.

Requirements:

• Bachelorsà Required. Bachelor's Degree with course work in business, journalism, communications, marketing, public relations preferred.
• 2-3 years of fundraising experience à Preferred. Minimum 2 years related work experience required. Three years in fundraising preferred.
