Summary
Duties:The Registered Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the cardiac patient population served on the Cardiac Recovery Unit. The individual demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the patient's status in order to identify each patient's needs and provide the appropriate level of care.
Requirements:
An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is preferred. 1-2 years of Critical Care experience is required. Professional License with State of Practice is required. Certification in Progressive Critical Care Nursing (PCCN), Certification in Critical Care Nursing (CCRN) is a plus.
