Summary
Duties
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic studies. Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies under the supervision of the Medical Director and Radiation Safety Officer. Is responsible for patient and staff safety protocols. Maintains all federal, state, local and regulatory agency requirements. Maintains open communications and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Science à Required.
- BSN is in Nuclear Medicine or Radiologic Technology. If the BSN is in radiologic technology the tech has to have passed the ARRT nuclear medicine program.
- 1 years of Nuclear Medicine experience à Preferred.
