Summary
Duties:Under the direct supervision of pharmacists, this entry level position is responsible for performingall of the functions of a pharmacy technician including maintaining Pyxis, preparing IVs and other admixtures, pre-packing, filling, loading, labeling, maintaining inventory, maintaining computer records, generating reports, restocking, debiting, crediting, maintain emergency boxes , and prompt medication delivery. Begin to develop leadership skills and serve as a role model to pharmacy interns.
Requirements:
High School Diploma Required
GED Required
Certificate Pharmacy Preferred
2 - 3 Years Preferred pharmacy or completion of approved pharmacy technician program/examination.
