Summary
Under the direction of the Central Intake Supervisor, the Central Intake Coordinator is responsible for receiving and processing all referrals in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service, effectively communicating both internally and externally, and promoting collaboration among the multi-disciplinary home health team.
Requirements
College Degree in Nursing - Preferred
If a Licensed RN/LPN, must be in the State served by the Agency
Certified EMT, paramedical, or coder preferred.
1 year nursing, paramedical, or coding experience - Preferred
1 year nursing experience in an acute care setting or ICD coding preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
