Summary
Position Summary
Utilizing the Nursing Process of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating, the Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care; managing assigned personnel, and promoting collaboration among the multi-disciplinary health care team. The RN maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation. The staff nurse will work together with the Certified Scrub Tech to prepare the OR and receive patients from pre op. The Staff Nurse will assist in the OR where needed, and will help the Certified Scrub Tech clean the rooms post surgery and help prep the next case.
Education
Associate Degree in Nursing - Required
Experience
1-2 Years Surgical Nursing - Preferred
License & Certification
Registered Nursing License with State of Practice - Required
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) - Required
Attain ACLS Certification beginning with first year of hire.
