• Position Summary
  • Works with Supply Distribution Manager and Departmental Management to organize order and supply par stock areas. Responsible to receive items in the MMIS system and assure that patient equipment is clean and available to the Nursing staff. This position is extremely fast paced, requires a high level of responsibility, exceptional organizational and communication skills.

  • 1-2 Years Material processing and computer inventory control - Required

• Core Job Functions
  • Compile customer purchase requisitions into individual vendor purchase orders.
  • Reviews every inventory and PAR stock location bi-annually to evaluate historical usage. Communicates and works with department designated leadership to discuss par level changes. Assures that inventory levels are updated.
  • Routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment is performed in accordance with manufacturer recommendation and department policy. Work orders involving equipment are entered promptly into the system. Staff education regarding care and operation of equipment is conducted annually and documented as needed.
  • Assures that soiled utility runs are conducted two times a day and adhoc as needed. Manages and oversees sequential compression devices (SCD) in PACU. Assures that all crash carts are cleaned and restocked.
  • Assures that all JCAHO standards are met by not putting outside boxes in a clean area. Products must be 18" below ceiling and 8" off the floor. All PAR stock carts must have a barrier on bottom shelf.
