Summary
Emergency Department Care Coordinator (7800.1880)
Duties:
Performs admission reviews on all patients at SJ/C during assigned hours. Including but not limited to calling, faxing, and on-line use with payers to ensure approved patient placement, covered days and discharge plans. Ensures timely, accurate and complete documentation of initial clinical information, which supports patient placement and healthcare services provided to patients and coding.
Requirements:
A Bachelors in nursing is required. 3-5 years of experience in an acute care setting is preferred. A national certification is preferred. A professional license with State of Practice is required.
