Summary
Duties:
The Scrub Technician, under the direct supervision of the O.R. Staff Nurse, provides patient care through scrubbing surgical cases and assisting the R.N. with circulating duties by helping to obtain the appropriate supplies, instruments and equipment for the surgical procedure.

Requirements:
High School Diploma is required. Graduate of Surgical Technologist program. Competency as evident in pursuing and maintaining national certification with subspecialty area. 1 year of experience is preferred of OR scrub experience. National certification is required. May be hired as certification eligible, but must achieve certification within 1 year.
