Staff Nurse

Summary

Duties:
Utilizing the Nursing Process of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating, the Staff. Registered Nurse is responsible for delivery of patient care; managing assigned personnel, and promoting collaboration among the multi-disciplinary health care team. The RN maintains open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.

Requirements:
An Associates in nursing is required. A Bachelor's in nursing is preferred.Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current registered nurse license to practice in the State of Georgia is required. Competency as evident in pursuing and maintaining national certification within subspecialty area is required. Professional license with state of practice is required. National certification is required. Professional certification is required. GA state RN license is required. Professional certification is required upon hire or within one year of eligibility. Candidate must attain ACLS beginning within the first year of hire.
