Summary
Duties:
Responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating, integrating, providing and evaluating the education, training and development of hospital employees within Surgical Services and as needed for affiliate personnel and physicians. Supports the mission, vision, goals and objectives of the organization through the integration of education with quality health care. Maintains open communications and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation. Overall responsibility for the operation of the Perioperative Clinical Practice Team. Position includes supervision of program staff, program planning, interdisciplinary collaboration, development, implementation, and evaluation. Maintains open communications and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.
Requirements:
Bachelor in Nursing is required. Masters in Nursing is preferred. Must obtain Masters within three years of hire date. Masters in related field such as education is acceptable. 3-5 years personnel management, program planning and program development. Is required. Three to four years’ experience in a position with similar responsibilities. Must have experience in personnel management, program planning and program development. Professional License with State of Practice is required. National Certification is required. CNOR preferred
