Summary
Duties:
The Registered Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the cardiac patient population served on the Cardiac Recovery Unit. The individual demonstrates knowledge of principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served. He or she must be able to assess and interpret data about the patient's status in order to identify each patient's needs and provide the appropriate level of care.
Requirements:
An Associate in Nursing is required. A Bachelor is preferred. 1-2 years of critical care, experience is required. Professional License with state of practice is required. Professional certification is preferred.
Our structural heart department is currently accepting applications for a clinical nurse. In this role you would work closely with the clinical coordinator and multi disciplinary team members to guide our patients through their heart valve replacement journey.
Cardiac and or Cath lab experience is desired but not required.
