Summary
Accountant 8110.1254
Duties:
Prepares monthly journal entries as appropriate. Reviews monthly budget to actual with supporting variance analyses. Participates in the preparation of the monthly financial statement package for Health System/selected affiliate organizations. Reconciles balance sheet accounts for Health System/selected affiliates on a monthly basis. Provides information and assistance to the external auditors.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred. A finance major is also appropriate. 2-3 years of experience in any type of accounting for a medium size enterprise or larger. Experience in Healthcare is a plus.
