Core Job Functions
- Processes biweekly time records for each co-worker in accordance with hospital policy and performs daily maintenance. Maintains confidentiality of co-worker time records. Notifies nurse manager of trends related to clocking in and out, overtime, attendance and punctuality.
- Coordinates departmental data collection and sends reports to designated personnel. Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Supplies are ordered and inventory is maintained within budget guidelines. Answers phone in timely manner with accurate information provided to caller. Completes Payroll per protocol.
- Maintains appointments and calendar, responds to requests to perform administrative tasks, answers phones and processes purchase requests.
- Prepare memos, procedures, reports and other correspondence as needed. Answer telephones, relay messages, assist callers or transfer callers as needed. Record minutes and transcribes documentation accurately.
